This month some of the team headed to Coventry to visit the Innovare Factory to get hands-on experience of how they make the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) which will be used in the construction of some of our BXB homes. Innovare are the only SIPs provider in the UK to design, engineer, manufacture, deliver and install their own system.

We have been really busy over recent weeks undertaking early stage construction work on our first housing sites and preparing new sites for delivery. Works at this stage typically involve site preparation and clearance, and detailed surveys or groundworks.

BXB are proud to announce planning has been granted for our stunning Lion Green Road development in Coulsdon. The residential led scheme will deliver 157 dwellings as part of our ambitious strategy to deliver much needed new and affordable homes across the borough.

In March we started our push to encourage as many Croydon residents as possible to register their interest in a BXB home. Unlike other developers, we make our homes available exclusively to Croydon residents for a fixed period of time as a way of promoting community and local access to homes.

This week we began painting some of our hoardings in Upper Norwood (Auckland Rise and Ravensdale) and Coulsdon (Homefield Road) with our branding. Works included stencilling the hoarding with our logo and boards containing more information about each of the schemes will follow.
