Additional project information

We worked with MICA architects and Croydon Council to complete the spectacular transformation of Fairfield Halls, which re-opened in September 2019. This cultural icon is fundamental to Croydon’s ongoing renaissance, adding to its fast-growing appeal as a place where people want to live, work and visit.

The refurbishment of the Fairfield Halls was celebrated with several awards:

RIBA London Award 2021

Civic Trust Awards (2021) – Fairfield Halls, Highly Commended

Building Design, (MICA) Refurbishment Architect of the Year (2020) – Fairfield Halls

New London Architecture Awards 2020, Conserving – Fairfield Halls, Highly Commended

New London Architecture Awards 2020, Experiencing Culture – Fairfield Halls, Shortlisted
