Aamir Khan
Financial Accountant
Aamir is an ACCA finalist, supporting Paul with the day to day running of the accounts department, treasury and reporting. Having influenced the finance team positively in his previous role, he hopes to have a significant impact in the team here at Brick By Brick.
Akin Lisk-Carew
Assistant Development Manger
Akin is responsible for the delivery of a number of our developments. He is a qualified architect with experience in retail, residential and educational projects across London. Akin is a chartered member of the RIBA with a distinction from the University of Westminster.
Alison Brennan
Development Manager
Alison is responsible for the delivery of several of our larger developments. A chartered surveyor, Alison holds a first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying, and previously held roles at Taylor Wimpey and Rider Levett Bucknall.
Alison Coutinho
Head of Delivery
Alison is responsible for the delivery programme at Brick By Brick. She has extensive experience in design management having practised architecture for more than ten years and latterly held a senior position at Berkeley Group. Alison also sits on the international RIBA Validation board and has mentored with the Stephen Lawrence Trust and Construction Youth Trust.
Altaf Sharif
Senior Commercial Manager
Altaf is responsible for the cost management for Brick By Brick schemes at various stages of the development cycle. As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years of experience, Altaf has spent his career working for PQS consultants, Contractors and Property Developers: gaining a strong understanding of the design, construction and development process.
Anthony Probert
Development Manager
Anthony oversees delivery of a number of our housing schemes from inception to handover. Anthony holds a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Construction, a CMI Diploma in Management & Leadership and a RICS Certificate in Construction Project Management.
Chloë Phelps
Head of Design and Commercial Deputy CEO
Chloë has been with Brick By Brick since its inception and has developed a unique knowledge in delivering high quality homes on smaller sites.  She also heads up Common Ground Architecture, our in house design team.  She is a qualified architect with over 15 years industry experience in both the private and public sectors and regularly contributes to expert panels.
Ciara Hanson
Development Manager
Ciara is Chartered Landscape Architect with expertise in strategic planning and public realm delivery. She joined BBB after setting up the Climate Response Working Group as a Public Practice Associate in 2019. At BBB she manages a range of developments and oversees BBB's nature based strategies.
Claudia Evans
Assistant Development Manager
As a qualified architect Claudia joins Brick By Brick with several years of experience in residential development. At Brick By Brick Claudia is responsible for the delivery of several developments across the borough whilst supporting the team with identification and feasibility of new sites.
Colm Lacey
Chief Executive / Managing Director
Colm has led some of the capital’s most complex development projects for over 15 years, including senior level roles at the Homes and Communities Agency, Greater London Authority, LB Lambeth, LB Newham and LB Croydon. He holds masters degrees in Economics and Urban Design and is a regular expert contributor to industry publications.
Denise Williams
Customer Care Co-ordinator
Denise works with the Head of Property and Engagement to develop procedures and process to enhance our customers journey and satisfaction. Denise is responsible for supervising our defect management providers, escalating matters where necessary. As part of the property and engagement team, Denise will be working closely with the Delivery, Sales and Marketing team. She has a wealth of experience gained from previously working at Crest Nicholson.
Gloria Addai
Office Manager
Gloria is our Office Manager, in charge of everything! She has a degree in Law and over five years' experience in the housing industry, working in boroughs such as Wandsworth and Islington, as well as for Croydon Council in the Home Ownership team.
Guy Rochez
Senior Development Manager
Guy manages programmes of sites from feasibility through to planning, providing oversight for projects being run by our team of development managers. His background spans architecture, planning and development with wide-ranging experience of unlocking sites for housing delivery.
Hannah Howard-Jones
Head of Property and Engagement
Hannah's role spans the entire development process from identifying potential sites, engaging with key stakeholders through to managing the completed developments. Hannah was previously Head of Residential Strategy for a private landlord, she is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a degree in building surveying from London South Bank University.
Jacqueline Frimpong
Assistant Office Manager
Jacqueline provides administrative support to the Brick by Brick team.  She has a Law degree from Coventry University, and previously worked in an architectural company, KUMA Environmental Design.
Jess Bolsin
Senior Development Manager
Jess manages the delivery of a portfolio of sites from identification and feasibility through to obtaining planning permission.  She has ten years’ experience in the sector, having previously worked on major regeneration projects for Croydon Council and Newham Council.
Joe Barton
Senior Development Manager
Joe oversees developments across all stages, focusing on taking large schemes from planning to completion. As a qualified architect with extensive experience in delivering residential developments, he has been influential in assisting development companies on complicated JCT building contracts.
Joe Roberts
Land and Planning Coordinator
Joe works within our engagement and property team. His role entails coordinating the land and planning processes from land transfer to discharging planning obligations. He is also involved in identifying new pipeline sites. Joe was previously a planner in both the public and private sector and holds a Masters degree in Planning from Sheffield Hallam University.  
Kate Brown
Head of Marketing
Kate is responsible for our brand and marketing strategy to support the delivery of our pipeline and bring our homes to market.  Kate was previously Brand Director at Urban Splash, and Head of Marketing at Pocket Living, with a decade of property marketing experience and a brand-led approach.
Kathriona Lyons
Senior Development Manager
Kathriona is responsible for delivering schemes from planning, through tender and construction, to final handover. She is a fully qualified architect and has over ten years’ experience in designing and delivering high-quality housing.
Katrina Thomas
Development Manager
Kat manages the delivery of several of our developments across the Borough. She has experience in residential, hotel and mixed-use sectors. As a qualified architect, her background is designing and delivering high quality homes from planning through to construction.
Lindsey Cairns
Resident Liaison Manager
Lindsey is focused on developing our resident engagement programme.  She has a wealth of experience in managing and delivering successful engagement activities for key stakeholders and community groups within both the public and private sectors.  
Luke Patterson
Digital Marketing Manager
Luke is responsible for the digital marketing side of the business which includes SEO, social media, property portals and PPC. Luke graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in Business & Economics.
Maddie Osborn
Marketing Executive
Maddie works in the marketing team and is responsible for overseeing the production of marketing materials, managing the production of content, writing and proofreading copy, website maintenance, email campaigns and organising events. She has worked in sales and marketing for a number of years and is a local resident of Croydon.
Mary-Ellen Munnelly
Head Of Operations
Mary-Ellen is responsible for the Legal, HR, IT and office related issues within the organisation. She has over 14 years of experience working in a Local Authority . Mary-Ellen was previously the lead for all S106 planning obligations and Community Infrastructure Levy for Lambeth Council.
Melissa Haniff
Development Coordinator
Melissa supports the management of all aspects of the delivery programme and strategic BBB projects. She is a qualified Architect with experience in residential, commercial and sports schemes as well as community engagement and co-design projects across London.
Paul Taylor
Financial Controller
Paul is a CIMA qualified accountant with many years’ experience of working within the real estate sector. He has worked with large blue chip organisations providing management information on a range of developments, including those with a GDV exceeding £500m. Paul is responsible for financial management of the company including budgetary forecasting and monitoring, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, financial risk management and investment analysis.
Phillip Chambers
Development Manager
Phillip is an experienced Project Manager and Chartered Surveyor with a background of working on residential, mixed-use, commercial and leisure schemes. His current role includes delivering a variety of residential developments at different project stages including construction and pre planning.
Rachel Meunier
Development Manager
Rachel is responsible for the delivery of several of our infill sites, from early feasibility stage through to handover. She holds a postgraduate degree in Urban Strategies and Design from the University of Edinburgh and is an Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Raul Espin
Development Manager
Raul is a fully RIBA qualified architect with extensive residential experience, in particular affordable housing and urban realm projects. Since moving to the UK ten years ago he has completed a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management at Westminster University and worked for contractors, consultancies and developers. His most recent role was for a boutique developer specialised in the delivery of airspace projects using off-site construction methods.
Shaun White
Sales Manager
Shaun manages and overseas the delivery of sales, from launching sites off plan, right through to completion. He has worked in the property industry for over 10 years and holds a wealth of industry experience including new home sales, lettings and property management. Shaun also attended London South Bank University where he achieved a degree in Housing Studies.
Stephen Howlett
Senior Development Manager
Stephen is a Senior Construction Manager and manages several of our projects leading a team of construction managers. He has a degree in Housing and Development and over 20 years’ experience in delivering new homes for Local Authorities, Registered Housing Providers and private developers.
Tom Burton
Development Manager
Tom is a qualified architect with a broad background in housing, public realm and SEN education. He came to Brick By Brick from a developer of new-build homeless accommodation, and manages projects at all stages.

Martyn Evans
Non-Executive Chair
Martyn has more than 20 years of property and regeneration experience including board and executive committee positions at the specialist mixed-use developer Cathedral Group and then at the listed property development and investment company U+I, which was formed through the merger of Cathedral Group and Development Securities in 2016. He is the Deputy Chair of the London Festival of Architecture and co-founder of the Young Architects and Developers Alliance (YADA).
Julia Pitt
Non-Executive Director
Julia Pitt has been the Director of Gateway Services at Croydon Council since January 2018, and prior to this she worked in various senior strategic and operational roles across housing, homelessness and adult social care in local government.  Julia has also held roles in the Homes and Communities Agency and the Housing Corporation across both investment and regulatory functions. Julia joined the Brick By Brick Board in May 2020.

Common Ground Architecture is our in house design team made up of Architects and Designers with a passion for creating great quality housing. They have designed a number of our projects, including Pump House, Coombe Road and a new block at Fairfield Homes, but also ensure that design quality is realised on projects being designed by external practices.  This includes writing the brief, site analysis, commercial and design reviews, and also construction monitoring.

They have also designed our offices at 62 George Street and the interiors for all of our projects.

Common Ground Architecture also take external commissions from private individuals, developers and Local Authorities.
